Recommendations and patient stories for Nick Ferran

Nick operated on me a couple of weeks ago for frozen shoulder. When he told me that I would be awake for the procedure I was apprehensive. I really didn’t relish the thought of watching the operation and thought that I could always close my eyes! I am so pleased now that I was awake and watched the whole thing as it has made me appreciate exactly what was done and to realise that scar tissue can recur if I don’t do the regular exercises. I truly believe that I wouldn’t be exercising so religiously if I hadn’t have watched it, as I wouldn’t have totally understood what had to be done. The team Nick has working with him are amazing and chatted to me throughout. I had the added complication of being extremely claustrophobic and was worried that I might be restrained in some way. I needn’t have worried as I was so well looked after and not restrained in any way. Another bonus of not having a general anaesthetic is that I was on my way home at 1pm.
