Ramsay Health Care UK (Ramsay) is delighted to announce that from 1 April 2016 it will be introducing the National Living Wage for all its employees, irrespective of their age.
The National Living Wage comes into effect in April 2016 and will initially be set at £7.20 per hour for workers over 25. Ramsay, which employs around 4,000 staff across its sites, will introduce the new starting rate to all employees from 1 April. This means approx 360 employees will benefit from the higher rate and approximately 50 of these are under 25.
Mark Page, CEO at Ramsay said: “One of the core values of The Ramsay Way is recognising that our people are our most important asset. It is therefore only right that we do not discriminate against our younger workers and introduce the National Living Wage for all our employees”.
“Ramsay prides itself on offering all of its employees with ongoing training and development and a competitive pay and benefits package.” Mr Page said.
