Keratosis Pilaris
Keratosis pilaris is a dermatological condition wherein the skin becomes rough which is like having goose pimples. The rash is mild and could go away without treatment. However the condition could get worse and this is the time that the patient needs medical consult. The tiny spikes along the skin may be either white or red; most call keratosis pilaris “chicken skin” since the appearance looks like permanent chicken skin.
