I was very fortunate to obtain an extremely prompt appointment at the Edgbaston Priory hospital with Dr Shah given the urgency of the situation. I was immediately placed at ease at my initial appointment. Dr Shah examined me. He then clearly, confidently, and sympathetically diagnosed my health issue namely the fact that I need to have a valve replaced in my heart. He has also co-ordinated a series of tests to be undertaken by his consultant colleagues which will culminate in my having open heart surgery. He has dealt with everything swiftly and professionally. He has also updated my GP (copying me in) so I am fully appraised regarding the progress of my medical treatment. His communication skills are excellent. I feel confident that I am receiving the best possible care and advice. I would recommend Dr Shah without any hesitation.
