Simeon Brundell: Consultant General Surgeon in Plymouth
Mr Simeon Brundell graduated from the University of Nottingham Medical School and then undertook most of his subsequent training in Leicester, with two years in Australia where he gained a doctorate in laparoscopic colorectal surgery. He took up his post as a consultant surgeon specialising in colorectal surgery in Plymouth in 2005.
Mr Brundell enjoys routine general surgery with a particular focus on the surgical management of minor anorectal problems, as well as both colorectal cancer and complicated diverticular disease. He plays an active role in teaching and training and is the deputy surgical tutor at Derriford Hospital, organising the training program for all junior surgeons working at the hospital.
