Mr Rahi K Yallapragada is a highly experienced consultant orthopaedic surgeon who completed his medical training at a prestigious institution in India. He later moved to the United Kingdom to undertake advanced surgical training across all subspecialties of trauma and orthopaedics, gaining broad expertise in the management of complex musculoskeletal conditions.
Mr Yallapragada's primary area of specialisation is lower limb arthroplasty, with a particular focus on the reconstruction and replacement of hip and knee joints. He spent two and a half years each within dedicated hip and knee arthroplasty units, working alongside eminent surgeons to refine his skills and deliver high standards of care.
To further deepen his expertise, Mr Yallapragada undertook specialist fellowships in lower limb arthroplasty at leading centres, including King’s College London and University Hospitals of Southampton. These fellowships concentrated on advanced procedures such as revision hip and knee replacements in complex cases of joint replacement failure, and pelvic and acetabular reconstruction following trauma or disease.
