Ahmed Abd El-Wahab Mohamed: Consultant Gynaecologist in Shepton Mallet, Somerset

Mr Ahmed Abd El-Wahab Mohamed completed his specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Egypt before relocating to England in 1996. He then gained extensive experience working within NHS Trusts across the North West of England, training under leading Urogynaecologists.

 

Since joining Practice Plus Group in 2010, Mr Mohamed has played an active role in developing new services, including establishing urodynamic and outpatient hysteroscopy clinics, and collaborating with colleagues to reduce hospital stays for gynaecology inpatients.

 

Mr Mohamed takes great pride in improving his patients’ quality of life. Known for his compassionate approach, he makes it a priority to listen carefully, communicate clearly and fully understand each patient’s concerns to deliver the highest standard of care.

 

Throughout his career, Mr Mohamed has contributed to research and held various managerial and teaching roles, including serving as a Royal College Representative on the Advisory Appointments Committee for Consultants with a special interest in Urogynaecology.
