With over 40 years of experience, Dr Atta Abbasi is a Consultant Gastroenterologist specialising in gastroenterology and colorectal surgery. He trained in gastroenterology, hepatology and therapeutic endoscopy at St Mark’s Hospital, Hammersmith Hospital, St Mary’s Hospital and Charing Cross Hospital in London and is approved by the Joint Advisory Group (JAG) on Gastrointestinal Endoscopy to perform Screening Derived Colonoscopy. Over the last 10 years, Dr Abbasi has performed more than 5000 diagnostic and therapeutic upper and lower gastrointestinal procedures, including endoscopy, endoscopic ultrasonography (EUS) colonoscopy, sigmoidoscopy gastroscopy and Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP).
