Kee Howe Wong: Consultant Clinical Oncologist in London
Dr Kee Howe Wong is a Consultant Clinical Oncologist at The Royal Marsden in London, where he has both a private and an NHS practice. He specialises in radiotherapy and systemic treatment for head & neck and thyroid cancers, including IMRT/IGRT, SACT, functional imaging and proton beam therapy. Dr Wong graduated from the University of Manchester in 2006 and completed his core medical training in the North West of England. He undertook his specialist clinical oncology training at The Royal Marsden and St Luke’s Cancer Centre. Between 2014 and 2016, he undertook a two-year clinical research fellowship with the head and neck unit at The Royal Marsden/ICR, gaining an MD(Res). During this time, he contributed to 16 publications in peer-reviewed journals and two book chapters. Following completion of training in 2017, Dr Wong was appointed as a Consultant Clinical Oncologist specialising in head & neck, thyroid and lung cancers at Mount Vernon Cancer Center. He joined the Royal Marsden in 2019.
Dr Wong has continued his research in optimising radiotherapy for head and neck cancer at The Royal Marsden through clinical trial e.g. INSIGHT2 and is now able to offer proton therapy privately at University College Hospital London through partnership with Proton International London. Dr Wong also runs a dedicated monthly medullary thyroid cancer clinic at Sutton with his endocrinology colleagues.
