Mr Anil Prasanna is a highly experienced Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with a subspecialty in foot and ankle surgery. He brings considerable expertise in both operative and non-operative management of complex foot and ankle conditions.
Mr Prasanna graduated from the Medical University of Sofia in 2005 and completed his specialist training in Trauma and Orthopaedics in 2010. He has been listed on the GMC Specialist Register since 2012. His advanced clinical skills are underpinned by three Fellowships: the prestigious BOFAS-accredited Windsor Foot and Ankle Fellowship and Post-CCT Fellowships at Stepping Hill Hospital and Lister Hospital.
Mr Prasanna's areas of expertise span a wide spectrum of treatments, including minimally invasive bunion correction, arthroscopic surgery for cartilage defects, Achilles tendon repair, the management of foot and ankle arthritis through both fusion and replacement procedures and sports-related injuries, such as instability and ligament damage.
