Manu Mathew: Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon in Chesterfield and Sheffield

About Manu Mathew
Before being appointed to the position of clinical lecturer and specialist registrar at the University of Nottingham, Mr Mathew, a graduate of the University of Madras, trained at several teaching hospitals, including Queen’s Medical Centre at the University of Nottingham and the Tennent Institute in Glasgow. Prior to this, he worked as a consultant ophthalmologist at Chesterfield NHS Foundation Trust, where he was a specialist doctor tutor and had expertise in glaucoma, cornea and external eye diseases.
In addition to presenting research papers to his peers, Mr Mathew has authored several peer-reviewed academic articles. He is an active member of several societies, such as the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery and the United Kingdom and Ireland Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons. He has performed hundreds of successful refractive surgery treatments.
