Warthin’s tumor is also known as adenolymphoma. It is a benign tumor of the parotid salivary gland. This tumor develops below the ear or in front of the ear. Warthin’s tumor presents as a painless and slow growing swelling. The exact cause of Warthin’s tumor is not known but it is strongly associated with cigarette smoking. Treatment includes removing the tumor surgically. Recurrence is rare.
