International patient services

Around half of the patients who use the services provided have travelled from other countries. Patients come from all over the world for the quality, experience and range of services offered by the London Prostate Cancer Centre. With this is in mind, the international patient coordinators have a commitment to providing all international patients with a hassle and stress free experience. They can help to arrange and plan every aspect of your visit to London. 

The international patient coordinators and interpreters speak and write fluently in Arabic, French and Greek. Additional interpreter services in most other languages can be arranged for free, for all patients who request it.

Prostate cancer treatment available

With a range of treatments available including chemotherapy and radiotherapy, patients play a pivotal role in choosing the treatments to help to manage their cancer. Complementary medicine including acupuncture and hypnosis is also an option for patients with advanced prostate cancer. An extensive range of treatments is also accessible for patients at the Bupa Cromwell Hospital including TomoTherapy, external beam therapy, Gamma Knife surgery and Gulmay therapy.

The London Prostate Cancer Centre accepts private, self-referred patients as well as GP and NHS referrals. If you would like to arrange an initial consultation, please contact the centre.

Self pay

Initial appointments with Dr Plowman are charged at a cost of £300. Please note that you may discuss self payment options at the time of booking the appointment.

Insured patients are advised to discuss their coverage with their insurance provider before making contact with the centre.
