Training and experience

Dr Graham trained at St Bartholomew’s and the Royal London Hospitals where he also undertook a Bachelor of Science degree. He completed his training in Gastroenterology in North-East London and undertook a PhD at University College London focussing on early detection of oesophageal and gastric cancer and novel diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic techniques. He was appointed as a consultant in 2016.

Dr Graham strives to deliver high-quality care to his patients. This is achieved through taking a holistic approach in which his patients are listened to, their questions are answered and their needs understood and met. The main focus of his work is in the management of patients with acid reflux (heartburn), swallowing problems (in particular the management of strictures) and pre-malignant or malignant conditions of the stomach and oesophagus. Alongside this Dr Graham is passionate about his research focusing on providing high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, the early diagnosis of cancer and the long-term management of patients with pre-malignant conditions of their stomach or oesophagus. This work ensures that Dr Graham delivers up to date, leading care. Finally, Dr Graham is passionate about teaching and aids in hosting numerous live endoscopy workshops at UCH. This allows Dr Graham to embrace and deliver innovative endoscopic therapies to his patients.

Fees

Dr Graham is recognised by all the major UK medical insurers. Patients seeing Dr Graham should not usually have any shortfalls to their invoices unless there are specific conditions in their insurance policies such as co-pay or an agreed excess.

For self-pay patients, an initial consultation with Dr Graham costs between £250 and £350, and a follow-up consultation usually costs £225. Fees for endoscopy can be made available on request, although please note that hospitals add considerable fees over and above those that are paid to the consultant.
