X-ray

Summary

X-ray

An X-ray is a diagnostic procedure which produces images of the inside of the body. It is a painless and safe procedure. X-rays are very effective in examining some internal organs of the body and diagnose diseases. A chest X-ray is the most reliable test to diagnose pneumonia and other lung disorders. X-rays are also very effective in establishing the severity of fractured bones. X-rays may also be used to guide the surgeon during therapeutic procedures e.g. coronary angioplasty or spinal injections.
