Ureteroscopy is done to remove ureter stones. In this procedure, ureteroscope is inserted through urethra and extended to the ureter. Stones can be seen through the ureteroscope. A drill or laser is then used to break the stones into small pieces. Possible complications are swelling and scarring of the ureter.
