Consultation and assessment
The first and foremost treatment of shin splints is adequate rest. This will prevent further damage and allow time for the healing process. Application of ice may help to reduce the inflammation. Medicines like non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs may be used for pain relief. For anatomical deformations like flat-feet special footwear or gel insoles may be worn.
Submit a request for further information, a quotation or indicative cost. Your enquiry will be forwarded to up to 3 private healthcare providers. They will respond directly with further information.
