Nosebleed
Nosebleeds are a common condition, especially in children. Usually nosebleeds occur from one nostril only and can be heavy or light. The flow could last for a few seconds to 10 minutes. Nosebleeds occur due to minor injuries to the tiny blood vessels of the nostrils, especially when a child picks his nose or blows his nose very hard. Other causes are infections, weather or the effect of medications. Medications like anticoagulants could increase the risk of nosebleeds, even in adults.
