A hearing test consists of a number of different test methods. A thorough hearing test of often made up of the following: Pure tone audiometry, Speech perception, Tympanometry, Tuning fork test and Bone conduction test. These methods are designed to test both ears and will highlight potential hearing loss causes. The results of these test are recorded on a graph, which is used to analyse sounds and volumes you are able to hear. Treatment depends on the correct result of your hearing test.
