Ectropion/ entropion of the lower eyelid
Ectropion is an age-related condition wherein the lower eyelid droops and turns outwards. This condition could range from mild to severe. There are also symptoms such as redness, irritation, watery eyes or excessive dryness and grittiness of the eyes. In mild cases, eye drops may be prescribed by a doctor to reduce dryness, redness and irritation. In severe ectropion, surgery may be recommended to correct the position of the lower lid.
