Cheek implants

Cheek implants

Cheek implants is also called malarplasty. In this procedure implants are placed in the cheek area to give the face a more sculpted and defined appearance. A highly specialized and experienced plastic surgeon uses different materials in cheek implants (silicone or body fat). These are laid along the line of the existing bones, and may be held in place with a small titanium screw. The facial implants are usually inserted via a small incision near the site of implantation.
