Pectoral and Calf implants

Pectoral and Calf implants

A pectoral or calf implant procedure is also called pectoral or calf augmentation, and it is a surgical cosmetic procedure. Their shape is different – chest implants for men are created larger and flatter to give the appearance of well-developed pectoral muscles. Calf implants come in a variety of shapes and sizes and two implants are usually placed within each calf. The aim is to make the calves appear more proportional to the thighs. Calf augmentation is only performed by experienced plastic surgeons as there is a risk of infection and shifting of the implants if the surgical procedure is not done correctly.
