Bronchiolitis
Bronchiolitis is inflammation of the small airways (‘bronchioles’) due to infection. It is usually caused by a virus known as Respiratory Syncytial Virus in babies. These babies develop runny nose, cough, breath fast and with difficulty, and may also not feed properly. Extra oxygen and food given through a tube passed into the stomach are the measures taken to support these children.
