Westfield charity donations

Westfield Health has kick-started the next stage of a major appeal to bring three groundbreaking brain scanners to Sheffield.

Westfield donated £20,000 to Neurocare’s ‘Brainwave Appeal’, a campaign that has already brought one SonoWand brain scanner to the city. And now it is raising the funds to buy the last two scanners for use during surgery at Sheffield’s Royal Hallamshire Hospital and Sheffield Children's Hospital.

Westfield Health has donated £5,000 to the Multiple Sclerosis Society Scotland.

Scotland has the highest incidence of MS in the world, affecting approximately 10,500 people. It is most often diagnosed in people between the ages of 20 and 40, with women being almost twice as likely to develop MS than men.

MS Society Scotland provides a wide range of services including holiday centres, respite care, education and training, specialist nurses and a vast array of invaluable information, while supporting ongoing research into the causes and treatment of MS.
