Standard Life updates critical illness

Standard Life critical illness policy definitions have been updated to meet those set out by the ABI, and for three conditions Standard Life will exceed the ABI definition:

  • Alzheimer's disease resulting in permanent symptoms
  • Aorta graft surgery for disease
  • Benign brain tumour resulting in permanent symptoms or surgical removal

For the other definitions, Standard Life's definition will be identical to the ABI definition.
