New research by health insurer BCWA suggests that three out of four of the nation’s self-employed and small business owners are unable to accurately estimate the cost of a private medical insurance policy. One in ten thinks the cost is double what it really is.
This means that the self employed and business owners are unable to make informed decisions on the true value of having their own health insurance.
According to BCWA, the self-employed and small business owners lose an average of £150 for every day they are unable to work due to being forced to wait for NHS treatment.
People who run their own business are not in a financial position to sit around and wait for treatment. The effect on their income and livelihood is far too significant.
Why not find the true cost of cover for your or your business? There are special policies for the self employed who only want to cover themselves and their family.
