A growing number of young professional males are undergoing Botox treatment at Harley Medical Group clinics.
The private cosmetic surgery group operates 26 clinics and has revealed that one fifth of its Botox patients are now men, many of whom are aged between 25 and 30 years.
Dubbed 'Boytox', the non-surgical cosmetic treatment is being selected by men who want to ensure they stay looking young, even though their busy lifestyles may be putting their skin at risk.
Botox doctor Dr Nick Milojevic revealed: "Young men in the City have been spending a lot of time frowning over the last year and we're seeing the fallout.
"Men coming into the clinics are telling us that they want to stay looking wrinkle-free despite their demanding lifestyles."
The cosmetic expert revealed that many men opt for a lighter version of Botox, known as 'Baby Botox', which allows them to achieve a subtle, natural look.
A survey published in November by the Harley Medical Group revealed that Botox treatments had increased by 51 per cent year-on-year among 45 to 65-year-olds.
