Reading private dentist scoops national award

A private dentist based in Reading has received a national award in recognition of his outstanding clinical abilities and charitable work.

Dr Bob Khanna of the DrBK Clinic was named Private Dentist of the Year at the 2009 Private Dentistry Awards earlier this month.

Dr Khanna has founded a non-profit charity called the International Academy for Advanced Facial Aesthetics and regularly lectures on new techniques.

According to the DrBK website, his clinic provides "the highest imaginable standards of care from our highly skilled team".

Patients can access a range of cosmetic dentistry treatments, as well as general dentistry, tooth whitening and oral surgery.

The Private Dentistry Awards ceremony, which was held at the Intercontinental Hotel in London, also saw Ollie & Darsh in Liverpool take away the prize for the most attractive practice, while Knight Dental Laboratory was named Best Dental Laboratory.

Other awards went to EndoCare, Gentle Dental and Cahill Dental Care Centre.
