Leaner, fitter and finances sorted

Dieting, taking more exercise and sorting out finances top the nation's New Year's resolution list according to new research by comparison site, Gocompare.com.

The survey of 3000 UK adults suggests that health matters top the list this year with 55 % resolving to lose weight while 49 % want to get fitter. 44 % resolve to sort out their finances and pay off debts.

  • Eat more healthily or change diet 35%
