How insurance companies ranked as business superbrands

The UK’s Business Superbrands are chosen by a panel of experts and 1700 individual business executives from across the UK who vote in an independent selection process considering thousands of brands from over 50 sectors.

In the 2010 Business Superbrands survey, insurance companies featured.

Bupa was the highest ranked insurance company at 68th overall, but that is a fall from 10th overall in 2009.

Aviva, which re-branded from Norwich Union, is the second highest riser in the top 500 climbing from 315th to 144th.

Other positions – Zurich 89, AXA 105, Prudential 118, Legal and General 131, AXA PPP Healthcare 201, Standard Life Healthcare 329, and Allianz 336.
