Demand for health cash plans increase

More people are signing up to health cash plans to help manage their everyday healthcare costs.

HSF health plan, one of the UK’s leading health cash plans, show a record breaking 25,000 people across the UK and Ireland signing up in 2008.

Stephen Duff at HSF says families are turning to health cash plans, “As the only health cash plan that covers contributors’ children and partners for free, families are reassessing the importance of looking after their health, using health cash plans to help cover everyday medical costs such as dental and optical treatment, new glasses, complementary therapies and much more”.

Paying customers nearly £20 million in benefits during 2008, HSF has noticed an increased rise in dental and optical financial support and increased use of popular free help lines, like their GP Advice Line.

HSF health plan provides cash back for dental and optical, specialist and investigations, practitioner treatments – such as physiotherapy, chiropody and acupuncture – personal accident cover, home care help, birth grant and stress counselling. With HSF health plan, families can budget for their health costs from just £6 a month.
