Hospital raises funds for local cancer centre

Wednesday 17 February 2016

Park Hill Hospital again have been raising money for their local nominated charity - The Aurora Centre in Doncaster, which is situated a 'stones throw' from the hospital, in the grounds of the Doncaster Royal Infirmary.

The hospital have done plenty of fund raising in the past including many of the staff joining in the Doncaster Race for Life event, but this time a raffle was held to win a luxury hamper.

Tina Williamson, HR Manager  at the hospital said "We are a small and close knit team at the hospital and work well together to look for opportunities to help raise money for such a worthy local charity. One of our very special members of our team, Donna Hubbard, lost her battle to cancer a couple of years ago, so it is very close to our hearts'

So far the hospital has raised just under £250 this year and they plan to keep adding to this throughout the year with more activity planned.
