This award was presented to the training provider or individual trainer whose training programme was considered to have advanced the education of medical aesthetic professionals most effectively during the last 12 months.
Judges looked for engaging methods of delivery, a high-quality, relevant, generic programme, a continuous development and improvement programme and achievement of measurable outcomes by delegates.There was no voting process and the winner was decided by the judging panel.
Facial Anatomy Teaching: Training Initiative of the Year 2015 Winner
An independent, anatomically focused treatment programme for GMC, NMC and GDC registered professionals undertaking non-surgical treatments, Facial Anatomy Teaching received the highest score from our judging panel.
Led by consultant plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgeon Mr Dalvi Humzah and assisted by cosmetic and dermatology nurse practitioner and prescriber, Anna Baker, the course is accredited by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. Editor of Aesthetics journal, Mandy Cameron was invited back to the stage to present this award to Mr Humzah.
