Private Acute Healthcare Conference

Join LaingBuisson at the annual Private Acute Healthcare Conference, 11th October at the Royal Society of Medicine. The conference will be focused on opportunities for growth as well as on the challenges facing private healthcare across the UK.

The topics covered at the event will include:

  • LaingBuisson's market statistics and forecasts for 2019
  • The outlook for self-pay, PMI and the NHS
  • Governance and standardised clinical pathways
  • Specialty focus on oncology and orthorpaedics
  • Non-acute services such as fertility and cosmetics
  • Mental health

Jim Easton has been an executive in healthcare for over 25 years holding leadership positions in hospital services, mental health, primary care and national policy. He was a Foundation Trust Chief Executive at York Hospitals, the Chief Executive of South Central Strategic Health Authority and a Director on the NHS Board as the  National Director of Quality and Efficiency.

David Hare leads the independent sector NHSPN, concentrating on NHS reform and promoting the contribution that independent sector healthcare providers can make in the modern, pluralist NHS, and the benefits their involvement brings to patients and commissioners.

Michael Neeb, HCA UK’s President and CEO, leads the company’s activities across the UK, serving patients from home and international markets. Mike joined HCA’s US operation in 1991. He served as Chief Financial Officer in the North and Southwest Florida Divisions and, prior to that, as CFO at the Fawcett and Kissimmee Memorial Hospitals.

Andreas Ludowig became executive director of Schön Holding SE & Co in the beginning of 2016, with the task of advancing Schön Klinik’s offer for international patients in Germany and the UK. He is also responsible for the set up of new clinics abroad.

Timed in mid-October at the round-up of the current year and as forecasting for the next year and beyond begins, this event is aimed at hospital operators, insurers, investors, lenders, clinicians and suppliers.

This unique combination of objective insights and senior delegate participation from across the industry makes this conference, now in its 22nd year, the must-attend event for the private acute healthcare sector.
