Wegener’s granulomatosis is an autoimmune disease that affects the endothelial cells. It is a form of vasculitis. Most common locations are upper respiratory tract, lungs and kidneys. Symptoms of Wegener’s granulomatosis are rhinorrhea, hemoptysis, hematuria, fever, fatigue, cough and malaise. Complications may include renal failure, respiratory failure and nasal septal defects. Treatment is medication and surgery.
