Uterine cancer is also known as endometrial cancer. It is a common condition in females near the menopause. Common symptoms of uterine cancer are abnormal vaginal bleeding, pain in the lower back and legs, loss of appetite and fatigue. The exact cause of endometrial cancer is not known. Hormone imbalance is thought to be an important risk factor. The most common treatment is a hysterectomy. Radiotherapy and chemotherapy are sometimes performed in combination with a hysterectomy
