Blakelands Hospital welcomes both insured and self pay patients, as well as those who are funded by the NHS through the government's Patient Choice initiative.
Self-funded patients are required to pay the full cost of a procedure before coming into hospital. Blakelands Hospital accepts cash, credit and debit cards, with the exception of American Express. Personal cheques must be received at least 7 working days prior to admission. Payment by bank cheque, building society cheque, credit card or debit card can be made up to and including the day before admission.
Blakelands Hospital is now able to provide financing for self-pay patients in partnership with First Medical Loans. More information can be obtained by contacting the Hospital direct.
A number of self-funding options are available at Ramsay Health Care, including an all-inclusive TotalCare package, Pay As You Go, or competitive finance options.
Blakelands Hospital is recognised by all the major insurance companies. Insured patients are advised to ensure that their proposed treatment is covered by their policy before booking an appointment.
