Ways to pay for private treatment at Ashtead Hospital

Treatment at Ashtead Hospital is available to everyone, even if you are not covered by medical insurance. Ashtead Hospital welcomes both self-paying and medically insured patients. They are part of BUPA and PPP Hospitals Network and are recognised by all major medical insurance companies.

Self pay

If you are a self-paying patient, you will need to pay the total cost of your treatment before you come to the hospital. Payment can be taken via credit or debit card (not including American Express), or by cheque, which needs to be paid 14 days in advance.

Patients who only have a price estimate and are not on fixed cost care packages, will be kept updated about additional information about their treatments and prices through the business office.

What's included

Ashtead Hospital offers all of their self-paying patients and most of their privately insured patients Premium Care. Premium Care ensures that you feel at home, with care provided in relaxing setting. With access to additional benefits exclusively available to Premium Care patients, you can ensure you will be well cared for.

Insured patients

Patients with private medical insurance need to have pre-authorisation from their health insurer before they come to Ashtead Hospital.
