The aim at the London Skin Clinic is to treat suspicious and proven malignant skin lesions on the same day as consultation in their Day Surgery Centre. Wound care advice is given by a nurse and a follow-up appointment is made for the removal of sutures and discussion of histopathology results, where necessary. If an operation under general anaesthetic is indicated by the size or nature of the lesion, this can be quickly arranged.
The Consultant Dermatolgists at the London Skin Clinic are happy to provide a second opinion service if a patient has had a diagnosis elsewhere that they would like reviewed or if they wish to discuss treatment options that have already been proposed.
