Training and experience

Dr Haq graduated in 1984 and acquired training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the prestigious Institute of Psychiatry London, the Maudsley Hospital and the Hospital for Sick Children, Great Ormond Street, London as well as the Northern Deanery, Newcastle upon Tyne.

Dr Haq has practised as a Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist at the Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust, one of the largest mental health trusts in England, since 2006. He is clinical lead for the ADHD specialist service for the Newcastle area and is actively involved in teaching and training medical students and junior doctors. 

Dr Haq holds privilege to practice at the Nuffield Health, Newcastle upon Tyne Hospital.

Fees

Dr Haq charges £400 for an hour long consultation and any additional time spent or assessment undertaken will be charged separately.

Payment can be made either by cheque or direct bank transfer following the consultation. Debit and Credit cards are also accepted.
