Ravi Gandhewar: Consultant Ophthalmologist in the Midlands
Mr Ravi Gandhewar is a Midland-based Consultant Ophthalmologist with extensive experience in ophthalmology and a particular expertise in cataract surgery and all retinal diseases.
Training and experience
Mr Gandhewar has been a Consultant Ophthalmologist since 2008 and has received excellent training and experience in all aspects of eye diseases, both in the UK and abroad. He has a special interest and expertise in the management of retinal conditions and routine and complex cataracts and premier lenses.
Mr Gandhewar holds a full time NHS Consultant post with University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust. He is actively involved in teaching and training juniors and fellows and is a Regional Educational Advisor for the Royal College of Ophthalmologists UK. He is regularly invited at national and international meetings.
