West Nile fever
West Nile fever is a viral infection caused by the west nile virus. It is not a potentially threatening condition. Common symptoms are muscle ache, fever and flu like symptoms. Encephalitis and meningitis can develop in severe cases. This infection spreads through the bite of infected mosquitos. Treatment is usually symptomatic and supportive.
