The bladder can be examined by cystoscopy. A cystoscopy is a very thin fibre-optic tube that is inserted into the bladder via the urethra. The procedure is carried un either general or local anaesthetic and last approx. 10 minutes. Complications or side effects can occur and help from your health professional should sought straight away.
