Paediatric circumcision

Paediatric circumcision

Paediatric circumcision is the circumcision of males as they are still in their paediatric years. Usually this is done days after the male infant is born which basically follows religious customs. There is removal of the fold of skin covering the glans penis using a simple surgical procedure. Infants that undergo paediatric circumcision usually do not have any complications as long as the wound is kept clean and sterile.
