Orthopedic surgeons use both surgical and nonsurgical means to treat musculoskeletal trauma, sports injuries, degenerative diseases, infections, tumors, and congenital disorders. Among the main procedures undertaken by orthopaedic surgeons are: Joint arthroscopy, Fracture repair, Arthroplasty, general repair procedures on damaged muscle or tendons and corrective surgery.
