Obstructive sleep apnoea

Obstructive sleep apnoea

Obstructive sleep apnea is a condition where a person is unable to breathe for at least 10 seconds while asleep. This condition happens as the walls of the throat relax, and this narrows the passage way for air while sleeping. As the lungs are unable to take in air the brain signals the person to wake up. Unless this condition is resolved, a patient could suffer from wakefulness leading to potential health risks.
