Nose enlargement

Nose enlargement

Rhinoplasty is a plastic surgery procedure used to enlarge and reshape the nose. This procedure is contraindicated before the age of 16 when the development of nose is incomplete. The nose is enlarged and augmented by building an additional framework made of cartilage, bone or other synthetic materials. The additional framework is introduced by making an incision inside the nostrils or on the skin between the nostrils. It is carried out under general anaesthetic. Possible complications are infection and heavy nose bleeding.
