Leukoplakia
Leukoplakia is a condition wheres a white patch develops inside the oral cavity. Leukoplakia is painless. However it may be an early sign of mouth cancer. The white patch may appear along the lips, gums, tongue, floor of the mouth or inside the cheek. The exact cause of this condition is unknown but smoking and alcohol use could increase the risk of developing leukoplakia.
