Leukaemia (acute)
Leukaemia is a serious cancerous condition of the blood. When the condition is acute, it signifies that the condition has progressed at a rapid pace and, thus, the patient needs immediate medical treatment. Symptoms are pale skin, an overwhelming feeling of weakness, breathlessness, infections and bleeding of the gums and nose. Acute leukaemia makes the person susceptible to infections and other illnesses.
