Infantile convulsions
Infantile convulsions are convulsions that usually occur in infants and children from 6 months to 5 years of age. It normally occurs in children with with a history of upper respiratory tract infections. The child suffers from convulsions with eyes rolled back. There is also drooling of saliva and gritting of teeth. There may or may not be loss of consciousness, but the child recovers after a few minutes. Keeping the child safe is the number one priority in convulsions.
